Default Where can I find trees?

So as I look at pics, im wondering, are there trees in Woming? I truly want to retire to the west. I love the mountains and the wildlife but I would also prefer to have a yard with trees? Can anyone give me some good ideas on quaint little towns that have trees

Most of the towns have at least some trees in them. If you want something in the mountains I would suggest looking in the northwest corner of the state or around the Black Hills.

"quaint" ... sorry, LOL. That's most of Wyoming!

How about Encampment? or Evanston? or down in the Star Valley area? Sundance? Cody? Lander? Thermopolis?

In Cody, there are trees all over the yards. In fact, I have a couple of big trees across the street from me blocking my view of the mountains! Cody borders Shoshone National Forest to the west, so lots of trees to be found there!

Heck, there are even trees in the older residential areas of Gillette. I would even say the street I lived on was tree-lined. People who drive across the state on I80 get the impression that there are no trees but that's simply because along I80 there really aren't any. lol If you drove into Laramie, Rawlins or even Rock Springs, you would actually find some.
