Default Laramie Pictures

The ones of the mountains I took in August with a digital and the ones of the town itself I took in September with a disposable.

I wish I got down to Laramie a lot more than I do---those pictures bring back memories. I have short stories that could go along with almost every one of those photos. Lived in those dorms, picked flowers exactly right there on the campus, fished from those lakes, flew planes through that pass, bounced and bartended in a couple of those bars.... Those were the days....

Default Good job!

Wow, those are some *really* nice pics. When I lived in Colo. I used to make the occasional field service to Laramie to work on equipment, and thought that general area was very pretty. Coming down into Laramie on I80 from Cheyenne was nice, and I also always liked the trip on 287 between Ft Collins and Laramie. Miss it alot.

They just announced plans to build a pedestrian plaza downtown (I'm guessing a la Pearl Street Mall). Personally, I'm excited, but I'm sure there'll be some oppostion. I always thought it would be great if Laramie had a little plaza with trees for people to hang out on a nice day.

Thumbs up laramie pictures

these sure bring back some great memories. i was in your fine state in 1980.

have been pinning to come back ever since. i wish i could feel secure about job opportunities in the casper, wyo area. this is where i was and worked the getty mines. when i look into the jobs area - it seems to be a depressed situation i am really on the verge of taking my next three year earnings, packing up my youngest child and her two children and our stuff and just hi-tailing it out your way. could some one tell me just what kind of employment is available - or is it all service trade by this time in casper area? appreciate any info you have.

thanx much - stephi

P.S. i realize you can't see three years from now - but can you all judge from the past three years as to how the employment might be.
