Hello everyone
I am looking for a village or small town where the population is still very attached to the traditions of rural America. No or very few foreigners, not of European.Un peaceful area without crime. Or most people would be born in this place.
Have a nice day

This is a good question. It's always seemed to me that most Wyoming towns have a lower than average percentage of natives to the community. That's coming from someone who grew up in the farm belt -- Iowa and Kansas. The farm communities don't usually get a lot of people moving in and seem mostly populated by folks who were born and raised there.

Maybe I'm getting this impression from living in Gillette, which has seen more population growth than any other Wyoming community over the past 50 years -- and continues that trend. I'd guess that Wyoming towns that haven't seen a lot of growth over the past few decades and don't have much oil and gas industry are the ones that, percentage wise, have the most native (to the community) born citizens.

In eastern Wyoming that would likely be Sundance, Buffalo, Wheatland, Torrington and maybe Douglas. These are all primarily ag-based communities. In western Wyoming I'd guess Evanston, Powell, Lovell, Thermopolis, and Worland would top out the highest percentage of native citizens.

That's just a wild guess. I've never seen any stats and don't know if there are any.

Wyoming is a boom state for extractive industry. People are constantly on the move. I don't know of any town that is primarily residents that were born and raised there. I live in a town of 800 and I'd say there are not a dozen people here that were born and raised here.

Hello everyone
Thank you all for your answers. Could you give me more information. In your opinion what is the area of the most remote Wyoming is the most evolved? Crime is low? What is life in these places? From what differentiates Wyoming residents from the rest of the neighboring states? The emphasis is different? What are the main leisure and adult occupations in the country, what are the favorite recipe? In villages and small towns mantient authority? Religion is important in people's lives?
Excuse my bad English.
Have a nice day

That is a lot to ask of folks. All of those things have been discussed extensively on this forum. Have you read any of the other threads?

With the exception of the "most people would be born in this place" you can pretty much throw a dart at a map and pick a place that would have most of these criteria satisfied. The "big cities" are Cheyenne, Casper, Gillette, Laramie, Rock Springs, and Sheridan and Cheyenne and Casper are the only two over 50k and the rest are smaller. You may want to avoid Jackson due to the high prices but otherwise the rest of the state would be pretty much open, if these are the primary requirements you have.
