Hi. I emailed several people about my 14yo son and I moving with our 4 cats to Wyoming in about 2 months. I am still waiting to hear from them. I asked them for some info on any pet-friendly rentals available and if any were near Big Piney (my choice). Can someone here help me with that? I work at home so no worries about finding a job. My son is special needs and I am thinking of homeschooling him when we get there. Any info most appreciated!

Oh. Do you happen to know of any pet-friendly rentals? I prefer a mobile home (or just whatever is cheapest). I am not broke, but not rich either I am thinking around $400-$500 a month.

I think maybe what Jody was referring to is that there aren't many people in Big Piney at all, let alone the chance of any who do live there being here on this site. Maybe there are.....if so, they could answer your question. Just don't assume that if you don't hear anything that it's because no one wants to help!

Rentals in the Big Piney/Pinedale area are scarce but no impossible. If you can find one that fits your needs I think you will enjoy it if you like the outdoors, are independent, and don't crave big shopping outlets. I live in Pinedale and love it because it works for me.

That sounds perfect for me!! I love the small town feel and I actually hate when there is a large shopping place nearby. A small store does fine for me. Thanks for the info!

Jennifer: if you go on Google-Earth and type in the name of whatever town you're looking at moving to, if you see a road outlined in the color 'yellow'...you can hit the little 'human' icon (on the upper-right hand side of the screen) and it'll zoom down (right to street-level) and you can move along the town (using your right/left or up/down cursor keys) and you'll see the town as if you're driving along the street...and there's also settings (along the left side of the screen) that will enable you to 'tick' a box that'll show you various businesses, post-office, hospital, etc, etc...so maybe you might go ahead and take a 'virtual-tour' of Big Piney (or Pinedale, etc) and you'd have an actual chance to SEE the town, before you make a move there.

I hope this might be helpful to you (or anyone else watching this thread) somehow.
