Grew up there...
Hulett is small town U.S.A (except for rally week). Most people don't lock the doors, will greet you, and talk about the weather, or deer, or whatever. As you may gather from the first paragraph not much happens in Hulett.
Good Luck,
Wildman

May I ask why you're moving to Hullett?! My family has property in that area and I grew up spending part of my summers there - I love that part of the state. I haven't been there in a couple of years, but it was still relatively undiscovered and quiet the last time I was there.

Hi Denise,
I just moved to Sundance a few weeks ago, and I've got a friend in Hulett.
The area around Hulett is amazingly pretty. Will you be working in town?

We went to Hulett and Sundance last fall...a very neat area! You arent far from exploring the Black Hills, and seeing Mt. Rushmore. Another surprise was jumping over to Belle Fouche...very cute little city..but not much but flat plains North of Belle Fouche and the trip north into Montana is pretty flat!
We liked it alot, and Newcastle, also...like alot of places in Wyoming, we noticed it is pretty digital...one minute you are in trees and hills/mountains, and then not far away is flat land/grassland. Hulett has built a new small airport on top of a development of a golf course - its atop a mountain, and you can tell the plans are to expand with cabins in progress - I guess the plan is for folks to fly in, rent a cabin and play golf. I took home a sample of the Sundance red soil, I THINK it is clay...maybe someone from that area has more info if you are planning landscaping. We went in October, and the hunters were out in abundance in Wyoming..alot of deer and antelope everywhere.
