Me and my fiance are moving to cody next weekend, can any one tell me the best way to find a place to rent? i dont need anything fancy, looking for any studios, 1 bedrooms, 2 bedrooms or even a trailor. I have two dogs, one is a basset hound less then 50 pounds and the other is only about 15 pounds. Any advice helps. Having a hard time finding anything that allows my pups. We are even to the point of renting a room like room share for a bit but we cant even find this. lol. Thanks to anyone who helps! Much appreciated.

Finding an apartment with your dogs will be very difficult. It won't even be easy to find a trailer or house, but it will be easier. My suggestion is to start looking at the classified section of the Cody Enterprise. Do it quickly. We're fast approaching the summer tourist season when rentals are difficult. However, having good credit and making it clear that you will take a year's lease will help immensely. Consider running a classified yourself. Get on it today.

It seems that many more people nowadays use the Facebook classifieds instead of the newspapers because it is free! If you go on Facebook and search for Cody Classifieds you can post an ISO (in search of) post telling what you want. I know you will get some responses! Yes, it is very difficult to find any place anywhere, not just in Cody, that will allow pets. Another problem could be is that you will be here this weekend and most places get rented out before past tenants even move.....finding something last minute could prove to be very difficult!
