There is a contractor in Laramie that had an ad in the Laramie Boomerang. Steve Anderson Construction Inc. You might try that.

The problem with wanting a job before you get here is " a place to live".
I work for a construction company that is always looking for good help. My boss will not hire someone who does not have a place to live.
Too many people think they will be able to get a place to live that they can afford. Not so easily done. There are lots of jobs, just not lots of good jobs! Jobs that will keep you employed year round for a boss that you want to work for.

the gas fields are booming there,im sure there are construction jobs as well.housing until you get established is the big problem and since you've got that one licked in pinedale that would be the place to go.i like that part of the state very much, you likely will too

Oil, gas, coal, they are all booming. Oh, and methane. It's unbelievable what the towns are doing. Some towns are booming, some are just setting idle. We're lucky in that we're setting idle. Don't need no boom here.

Pinedale does have a bit of a boom,( construction and gas) though I have heard it has slowed down a bit.
You could start there and you are close to the Jackson and Star Valley Market(where I am).

I be resting my weary bones in Sheridan.
We're kind of booming, but not like some of the other towns. We have rental problems in that there isn't any. We're full. haha Just nothing available. They're building some "Low income" houses. Yeah right. $190k and they're calling them low income. Actually, they are in that the loans offered make it so. Cheap financing is why they are called "Low Income".

Elkhunter, I would like to pick you brains. We are looking to maake a move to close to Sheridan or over the hill in the area of Lovell to Cody.
How is the water in your area? There are some properties down Cat Creek rd.
Any thing good or bad to say about that area?
