Are you thinking of the Brooks Ranch Development? If so, you can Google it to learn more about it. I saw the area of this development closest to I-25 as I passed through there last year, and thought it was relatively barren, since I couldn't even see any trees there. I didn't travel into the interior of the development, so all I can go by is what I saw from the highway. It was beautiful in its own way, but wasn't the type of place that would be my first choice to live. If I were looking for a place, though, I'd at least look into it further, because some of the pictures on the web actually looked pretty nice. I did like the idea that it was close to town, and would make it possible to travel there for shopping and possibly even work, though that could be difficult in the winter.

It didn't say anything about I-25. The description just said near 20/26 and 15 miles north of Casper. The parcel map that I saw showed 20/26 and a road going off to the north to the parcel.

Do a mapquest or google map of the area and zoom out a little to get a good feel for where this is.

20 and 26 are the same stretch of road in the Casper area, and run, more or less, east and west through Casper. Perhaps the parcel is to the Northwest, since 20/26 run slightly north (but still mainly west) in that area.

Can anyone tell me what the housing and jobs are like in Greybull? My husband and I are in our early 40's 50's and he's disabled from two bouts of cancer. Because he was such an avid hunter/fisher outdoors man I'd like to get him somewhere that he can use his camera to keep his love of the outdoors going. I need to be where I can get work and the cost of living isn't so high that we can't make it. I like small town life and would be fine only going into the big city shopping a few times a year. I do like to have a garden, love wild meat, quilting and landscaping... Any suggestions on where to move?

It is 15 miles west of Casper, just north of 20/26. Also, it is 5 miles southeast of Burlington Lake. Just wondering what the land in that area looks like and any time of building regulations that may be in effect.

I am brand new to this site but I am also looking at relocating to Wy. I will be coming in December to go to Yellowstone and a couple of other places. I also want to visit Grand Teton.
I am restless in GA and very tired of the heat. I grew up in VA and I am used to the mountains. I miss them and I miss the weather change. I am used to snow and ice from living in VA. I can take the cold. I hate living in southeast GA which only has the weather pattern of hot, hotter, and hottest.
I am interested in a small town where I can get to know my neighbors by name and hopefully, alot of the the people in town by name. I like the "homey" and "friendly" atmoshpere of small town living. I need an affordable place to live. I have done real estate for the last several years and I have worked in the hospital before that.
I love to horseback ride, bike, hike, camp, and just enjoy the outdoors. I am used to very small town events such as a small local "crawfish festival or shrimp festival" everything is on a small scale where I currently live. There is a Wal-MArt in town for shopping and a couple of grocery stores and that is about it, not shopping malls, no Starbucks, no major anything just the basics and I like that about it, I dont mind traveling to get to something else or I will order it on the internet, I am a down to earth basics kind of girl.
I am looking for a small town in WY that would suit the type of living I am looking for.
Also, considering the fact I don't have a job there and if I were perfectly honest with myself I don't know if I would stay in real estate or what I would want to do as an occupation there. I have also been substitute teaching here in GA and I have enjoyed that as well.
I am not afraid of hard work and I definitely don't live my life around money other than it is necessaryto live but I don't walk around wondering which job I should choose in order to make the most money.
Can someone fill me in on some places I might really like and fit in Wy
Anything is greatly appreciated

How are you planning to see Yellowstone? It's closed except for snowmobile group tours and snow coaches, and those are limited.
Lots of small towns in Wyoming would probably meet your requirements. I hope you can travel the state a bit while you're here. Maybe you'll come across that special place that calls out your name.
