well different parts of either state can be very different just within the state.glendive montana is quite different then kalispell montana.gillette,wyo is very different then jackson,wyo.some areas of both states are pretty religious,some not so much.many western wyoming towns are more than 50% morman.they are both huge states within a variety of climates,and terrains.you would have to be a little more specific about what appeals to you to give any kind of answer.both states have many wonderful attributes but neither is for everyone.
