Default hoping to transfer to Cheyenne Wy

I wanted to know if there are any areas of Cheyenne that are not the best to look for housing.

Wow. There are places in Cheyenne. But there aren't places close to where you you want to be. I'm sorry. It just ain't happinining.

Up here in Wyoning we have miles of miles. It's just how we are. We are how we are. Sorry. But we depend on who we are.

We have lots of miles of miles. We love it... If you cant get miles of miles then you don't live in the thick of things. I love it. Woudn't trade it for nothing.

Personally, I wouldn't opt for Cheyenne. I don't like it, never have. Some people like it, but I don't. Sorry.

Personally I wouldn't live south of I-80 anywhere, it's considered the less desirable area. Also I would stay to the north and west of the refinery, to cut down on the stuff that falls out of the air and the smell of it. The avenues are a great area but they are on the expensive side. It's a buyers market in Cheyenne right now, keep that in mind when you're haggling over price.

I lived in Cheyenne for several years in early 90s. Am not sure there are any slums or really bad areas. I lived close to downtown, and have been back to look at my old neighorhood. It does look more rundown for sure, but don't know if I would call it really seedy or dangerous. Not sure what you are looking for either.

Have you looked at this? Neighborhood Plans (http://www.cheyennecity.org/neighbor1.htm - broken link)

What exactly is the location of the refinery? I too have looked at homes for sale in the Avenues and original city in general.
