I’m leaning towards Wyoming my husband is leaning towards Montana :P , Montana is gorgeous, But I feel Wyoming is a better fit.
Also as a RN I would prefer working in a elderly home than a actual hospital. I’m sure the hospital would pay more money wise, but I love the company of the wise.
Another thing that may help: help me lol, is I would prefer spending less than 200k on a home with acreage.
Thanks so much for your reponses! Your all the bestest!

What kind of security job is hubby looking for? You might consider Torrington. There's a medium-security prison being built that will provide correctional jobs:

There's a hospital and nursing home in Torrington, with a large regional hospital and several nursing homes just across the border in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. The mountains are farther from Torrington than other WY locations - 60 miles to Laramie Mtns, 120 miles to Black Hills north - but the climate is much milder and many local recreation opportunities for warm months.

A huge plus is the low cost of living - right now there are many acreages with nice homes for under $200K, although that may change when the prison opens.

Looks like north central mt or eastern mt will be the place for you-malta-glasgo -Havre-miles town-glendive- cause in a couple years you won't have enough $$ to find your dream place in the other places you have mentioned and If I were you, I'd buy now if possible because the places I've mentioned are being "discoverd at a alarming rate" Good luck!
