So yesterday I read on MSN the five happiest places to live, and lo and behold, my 3 fav states were there: Wyoming, South Dakota, and Montana.

Why do you suppose you people are so dang happy? Is it because of the low population density so you don't have to put up with other people's crap?? (lol)

Is it that wyomingites are more financially stable? Maybe that's a stereotype, but aren't there a high number of rich folks that retire there? And I always thought you'd have to be somewhat independant for your income out there, which can in itself be rewarding. Not that everyone there lives that way, but maybe in higher ration than elsewhere?

Or is it just those beautiful mountains and prairies with sage and wildlife and meadowlarks and wide open spaces..........
