Casper (real estate, to rent, houses)

Thinking of relocating to Casper to teach (South Dakota boy here).
Any pros & cons anyone can share?
Looking to rent to begin with, would like to find a equestrian property.

Casper is a great booming town, what with the oil industry back in business. The houses cannot be built fast enough. Real Estate is high, it's a seller's market right now. We are planning a move to Lufkin texas and will be able to get more house for less money and bank the profits.

You can check the real estate listings in the paper at trib.com. The school district desperately needs substitute teachers and you can probably sub full time, not sure what the need is for regular teachers, but they should be posting listings for next year within a few months.
