Default Moving to Powell and hauling a horse

Hi everyone. My family and I are moving to Powell sometime this year. Of course, that all depends on when our house sells. My hubby has a job waiting for him, but I don't and with two small children things can be tough to budget. The main issue is trying to find a decent place to board my horse in or near Powell. I'm all for simplicity, he only needs pasture board, hay, water and shelter. I'm also willing to work for some/all board if that's possible. I know there are lots of horse folks in WY, so I'm sure there's someone who can give me some suggestions. Thanks and have a great day!

They to list the clubs in the western horseman magazine. I havent traveled in that circle for about 15 years. Also might check the university for the riding club president. Call the vet in powell or cody. They all should be able to point you in the right direction.

The Powell paper has a couple of adds every week. You can look at it online. They look like they may be a bit more than just pasture though. I have been looking as well.

It looks like we will be in that area soon and until we have land will need the same.

I live in Powell and I often notice ads in the Powell Tribune PUBLISHED IN POWELL WYOMING for people looking for land for their horses.

There's also a free paper called the Penny Pincher. I haven't used it in awhile but I believe it's still free for this sort of thing. Their phone is (307) 527-7718.

You might have pretty good luck putting in an ad for boarding for rent or trade.
