It seems as though Winter has returned to Wyoming. I thought I would post images from a different season to help get us in the mood for other forms of our weather!

This is outside of Newcastle, WY:

These next two are outside of Casper last summer:

Then there is the fine fishing weather...Glendo Reservoir:

Sort of makes up for this:

Beautiful photos, HighlandLady! I especially like that first one---great perspective.

I can't wait for some summer thunderstorms--I will chase them around until the wee hours of the morning, looking for a photo opportunity. Here's one I got a couple of summers ago at about 3am--I'll just post a small version--I don't want to steal your proverbial "thunder." Again, great pics!

Taken at the base of Casper Mountain.

Fabulous photos!! I love them - my slow dial up makes it hard to get to see all of them at once but the ones that do show up are wonderful. Just another joy of rural life and major demands on my time!!

Thank you, Cloudfish....

This is certainly a compliment as I have taken the liberty to peruse your Flickr album and I was utterly amazed. Please don't downsize your photos on my account!!!
I am still learning to shoot lightning images..though I do love to chase a fine storm. It helps to have a far better camera than the camera's user!!! (Another Canon user here). I especially loved your spectre and glory images.

I like this one the best. I've always had a thing for sunrises and sunsets.

Thank you so much! Yes, they are favourites of mine as well. This was shot in early May of last year...and there were some fine Walleye parked just past that tree Couple of months later, the water receded far past that tree.

Spring has finally...FINALLY arrived. After nearly a foot of snow last week, I was beginning to think she never would. These were greeting me this morn:

At first, I couldn't quite figure out how fake flowers found their way here
