ok, I love the snow ones as well.
I'll take the wind and the snow and the 20 below. But also gimme a place where people are people and snakes are snakes. Where life goes on and time stands still. Where the wind blows but LIFE's choice is my will. OH, give me Wyoming, where I want to be... Out of the Bluegrass and out where I'm free.... Oh, just gimme, cuz I wanna and let me be. In Wyoming. Where I can be free.

South Gap Lake in the Snowies:
A view of our truck and the Snowies:
Sugarloaf and Medicine Bow peaks:
These were all taken by myself at the beginning of last month (August 2008). My dad and I make a yearly pilgrimage from Kansas City to the Snowies to backpack and fish the trout up there. The Snowy Range is a place that I will call home someday, and with a pending transfer from KSU to UW, that day may be soon.

That's a strong possibility. Hubby and I have been to so many ghost towns and so many that have been lovingly restored and maintained by a dedicated few citizens that I honestly don't remember where it was taken, other than somewhere in Wyoming.
