Claim Jumper,
I've got to throw in my thanks for your wonderful pictures, too. The beauty of the area is incredible, and you got some neat wildlife shots on top of it! Thanks for posting.

Yes about the Wildlife shots. I need to always have camera ready. The picture titled Baby (It was a Baby Big Horn) that critter was so close to the road I almost hit it. I backed up and he did not move. It was eating grass right there on the road. North Fork about 5 miles from Cody. It kept looking up like its mother was up there but I could not locate any others. I chased it up the hill and it came right back down. That photo is after I chased it from the roadside and it was headed back down. I have the before photos as well.
I also saw a big bull moose while elk hunting . My horse did not enjoy the encounter as it walked right in front of us! Wish I would of had my camera out. I dont think I could of got the shot anyways with a pack horse in one hand and my horse turning on its hind quarters to get the heck out of there.
Thanks

Claim Jumper...firstly - thank you for the compliment
The last South Fork photo is exquisite - what Canon did you purchase? The only thing I have to say about that photo - aside from the beauty you've captured and only because it has happened to me as well - is the poor sky is washed out from the sun. I am not saying it is a bad thing, for the photo in its entirety is a beauty...but do you have a circular polarizer filter for your lens? It may help. I have been most frustrated here in Alaska because of washed-out skies...

Cannon
PowerShot SD550
DIGITAL ELPH
I noticed that haze and was wondering what that was. I don't know any tricks--there were better cameras but the sale rep. said this was simplier and shoots good quality pics. I read about the photo lens cover on someone asking about cloudfish and his great shots. I never knew anything about these. What is the cost and what do i get? I should take some classes on it--I do enjoy getting good shots.
HighlandLady I just barely learned how to turn it on and shoot when I got those pictures. I don't know anything at all for tricks or stuff you do to prevent bad shots from happening etc. A total rookie
thanks
