I took these photos this past weekend and the ones outside of Gillette the other day.
This is on the way to Hole-in-the-Wall where Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid and their hang used to hang out
On Hwy 59 going north outside Gillette about 25 miles

Septocaine_queen, I really was glad to see the photos you took.  My folks live in Upton, and I have a brother that lives in New Castle. It's been 5 years or so since I have gotten to see them. I started to cry  when seeing the photos. My mom and dad live only 50 miles from Gillette, and I have been there when visiting. Thanks again for the pictures.  |

those are great pictures septocaine... I guess I had pictured Gillette area differently. It looks a lot like the badlands in south and north Dakota

Thanks everyone. I wanted to post some pics of Gillette. It is beautiful right now with all the blooming flowering trees and lilacs everywhere. It is so easy to just drive and take in all the sights. My husband and I just like to get in the car and follow a road just to see the sights.
