Great pictures! thanks for sharing. That one rock picture reminded me of the Easter Island rock statues as it looks like it has a face.

Was this your house or a friends?

Our friends are ranch hands of this place. They rent the place to hunters too.

Thanks for checking out the pics.

What gorgeous pictures! I am a hunter too, and have parents that live there in Wyoming. I live here in Ohio, and 2 years ago shot my first deer. An eleven point buck. I will have to show these to my husband.

You are killing me with those beautiful pics.
You should see the ugliness I see out of my office window.

Thanks for sharing. I'll be looking at those pics often today to raise my spirits a bit.

Great photos, makes me homesick. Except for those BAR-S franks, you really need to get some better hot dogs!

Why don't you ask the moderator if he can move this thread to the Official Wyoming Photo thread?

septocaine_queen,

Can you be any more specific about your photo(s?) to Hole-in-the-Wall? Did you go in by way of Kaycee or come down the Hazelton Road from the Bighorns? I was just telling my wife about the Hole-in-the-Wall area last week. It's been 35 years since I was there. We came in from the Kaycee direction but left on the Hazelton Road because it rained, turning our entrance road to mud.

I climbed the canyon walls then. I'd hate to even try it today. ): You can also follow the river down into the canyon, and it's just beautiful. Good fly fishing too, or it was "back in the day," but I don't think my wife nor I could handle the walk these days. There's no easy way into that canyon.

Well... if you burn em' just right. Besides, we weren't in charge of the food, except for the marshmellow, the graham crackers, and the Hershey's chocolate bars.

I spose' the eats are pretty good around there during hunting season too. Did you see the pic of that 900° F+ searing grille?
