Thanks Elkhunter.

Did it work?? Can anyone see my great blue heron?

I used photobucket this time like j1n suggested. Tried to host it at C-D the 1st time. There is still a "this image has been resized" phrase at the top.

Worked like a champ. Yes, the bird is there. I'll go back and delete the other post.

Good shot!

Thank you. I was afraid Elkhunter would have a lot to delete before I was through…

I’m gonna try a few more...

On our way coming or going to Yellowstone. Stopped on the side of the road where they had this rocky ledge made for wandering...

Really cool maze we stumbled upon. Liked the sign. I think it was family owned. Creative.

The Grand Tetons. My husband really wanted to see this especially. Took a cool picture of my boys skipping rocks in unison here...

Just glad to see some Wyoming wildlife...

Around or in Yellowstone. We were on the other side of the road. I know it's not wise to get out of the car, but I couldn't help myself. Wish I could have zoomed in better. I think he was scratching his chin...

Okay, this one isn't actually in Wyoming. But very close to it! Big Sky, Montana. I justify putting it in because if you can't find a place to stay around Yellowstone (like we couldn't), you can go a bit north, over the border, and stay at this lovely spot. Very undercrowded and reasonably priced. Not to mention pretty. Woke up in the morning and took this...

sweet pictures, emeraldsky! The fourth one down has tons of that sagebrush that I love so much!
I love that sign picture. We were on our way from WY to MN last June and drove past a motel in Chamberlain that had a sign reading "Invisible Friends Stay Free". So cool.

Thanks j1n. Not as cool as yours, but I try...

So that's what sagebrush looks like...

"Invisible Friends Stay Free." Love it. Reminds me of Lauren Child's picture books, Lola's imaginary friend Soren Lorensen...

I thought I'd share a few myself.... I've just rebuilt my computer so my drives with my photography aren't hooked up yet--but here's a few I have on a Flickr account.

This is a 16 photo panorama of the red buttes just east of Dubois. Forgive the smaller size--I adjusted to fit on most screens---the original is 103 inches long.

An 8 photo panorama near Dixon, WY--right on the state border, as it were.

Battle Mountain, just east of Dixon and Savery.

An 8 photo panorama of Elk Mountain, WY.

Here's a smaller one---this is near Crowheart, WY looking northwest towards the Absarokas.

I'll post more when I re-install a couple of harddrives....
