Was thinking the same thing. Used to live there and that sure looks like the west end of the long tunnel and the pull out there. The other tunnels look like Cody also. Am not real familar with the ones in the Wind River so I cant compare

More pictures of Gillette and the surrounding area.
We did a little flight to Devil's Tower, Keyhole Reservoir, and the coal mines south of Gillette. It is beautiful this time of year with the thunderstorms and mild temps keeping everything really green.

Beautiful aerial images of the Devil's Tower!! You're right, everything is so very green - it's been awhile since I've seen it that green this time of year. Well done!

Septocaine_queen, I love the pictures!!! Thank you for them. I don't know when I will be able to get back out there. I was hoping to do it this summer while my son is out of school, but things have come up w/ my parents there in Upton, Wyoming that I have to put going out on hold for now. I love the pictures of Devils Tower. I used one of the pictures as my backgrounds on my computer. I have never gotten to see the top of the tower. So, that was neat to see.

Thanks. I am flattered. The rangers say that they have found snakes on top of Devil's and my brain is trying to think of how they get there. Maybe birds of prey pick them up and drop them off on top.
I like to post pictures of Gillette for people who are considering moving here because when I was researching Gillette, there was few photos of the area I could find.
