Thanks. It IS very relaxing to watch them. We lived about 8 or so miles from them and went out to see them often. Just beautiful to see them running and living free.

Default Went to the swimmin hole today

It was a beautiful day in the Black Hills today and the road was open to the Swimmin Hole, so the wife and I had to go!

HighLandLady, I absolutely love your photos! Can I ask what kind of camera you use? I have an old point and shoot camera that is at least 5 years old and am looking to upgrade.

It's been 4 years ago since she posted those, and she hasn't posted anything on this board for several years, so I'll try to answer for her. According to the file information in her photos that I checked, they were taken in 2006 with a Kodak Z730 -- probably no newer nor better than the one you have. (Edit: It looks like her later ones were taken with a Canon EOS Rebel XTi.)

Saying to a photographer, "Nice pictures! What kind of camera do you use?" is a little like saying to a poet, "Nice poem! What kind of pencil do you use?"
