Question about elevation...
Hello, All.
As I mentioned in another thread, I am going to be applying for a job in Green River.
Also, I have lived in Wyoming before, in Cheyenne when I was quite young, and in Laramie with my wife about 10-12 years ago.
In recent years, my wife has developed a couple of medical conditions that make me think perhaps living at that high an elevation could be detrimental to her health.
She suffers from high blood pressure and heart palpitations which the doctors think are caused by her pituitary gland.
So, my concern is that the thinner air and higher elevation might compound these problems. And that worries me.
Does anyone have any thoughts or suggestions or advice? Am I fearful over nothing? I recall there was a bit of time needed to acclimate to the elevation when last we lived there, but we are a little older now and I want to make sure it would be a safe environment for her.
Thanks so much for any feedback.
