Now that you have brought up summer-thanks for showing us how to spell it! I'll tell you what I've heard about it! Back in the early days of wyo! The elusive critter called sumer(CUSE THE SPELLING) Was spotted by a small pack of winter starved coyotes, they of course thought summer was a easy meal! Little did they know the speed of summer! I think this happened in the late 1890's or early 1900'S according to all the information from old rednecks an bar historians! The coyotes as hungry as they were after a long winter chased poor old summer clean out of the state of wyoming- according to all the information and state records -I believe summer is now in either-nevada or new mexico hiding in the desert an too scared to come home.

Default Found it!

I'm afraid I found Summer, Wyoman. It is alive and well down here in Fla and other than our winter season (Jan 13th), it appears to want to stay here in God's waiting room
Other day, I drove by the bank (usually a pretty accurate thermometer outside) and it was 90 degrees in the shade!
The ONLY good thing about summer down here is that about this time of year, it gets a visit from it's third cousin(twice removed) named Spring Break. The arrival of Spring Break usually heralds a dramatic change for the better of the landscape- particularly in the beach areas (the trees and grass are prettier too!)
Ah well, take the good where I can find it until I can relocate to Wyo.
Harry

Oh goody! I might actually be in Wyoming on that day! I'm usually there a little later in the year, but might have to move it up a little because my Sister-in-law is getting married in Colorado in the end of June, and my daughter might be going to camp later in July. That would mean that I might have to vacation there in the early part of July. I'm looking forward to it, though it might mean I have to miss Frontier Days (ugh!).

We here in Laramie got about 7" of the wet, clumpy Minnesota-type white stuff this morning and it's been snowing all day.

I'm going to vote no on the winter being over thing.....
