Here are my needs:

Machinist job not too far.
40 acres of wooded land.

After much research, Wyoming looks like where I wish to move to, make roots! So far Casper looks ok,

Please advise,
TIA

Just wondering why 40 acres of wooded land is on your priority list in your choice of a place to move to? I have lived in a lot of the places mentioned by our freinds on these threads and most are surrounded by wooded acres only you don't have to buy what is free in wyo! Yeah public lands -Beautiful uncrowded well maintained PUBLIC LANDS! Come enjoy and save some bucks that you really don't need to spend> GOOD LUCK

Default A Big Thank You To All

I'd like to thank all that responded; I appreciate the advice!

Also, my reason for my "own" woods is so that if I choose to use the wood for a fireplace, I already own it.

Being that I'm moving there with a travel-trailer; wind is an issue.

Thanks again, COZ

Depending on what and where you buy, there may be prohibitions on living in a travel trailer. I know that there are limitations on doing so on the property I own. Basically, I can only live in a travel trailer or motor home while vacationing on my property, or for a period not to exceed 18 months while I build a home. This may be the same situation in other places, so look into that before you buy a place if you're planning to live in the travel trailer long term.
