All I know is they had a tornado touch down in southern Weston County...I think out by Morrisey. That's all I heard at any rate. The sun is making a visit now, but it is still a wee bit chilly. My flowers are hiding.

That's what the weather guesser said. But, at least the tornado's in Wyoming, from what I've experienced, are small. Lived down in Texas for a bit and them suckers would be a half mile wide.

Default Happy early Mother's Day

Yeah, they say everything is bigger in TX. I lived there too for several years. The only time I was worried about a twister was when I was babysitting. Out in the middle of nowhere. When you're responsible for little ones... and you're young and inexperienced yourself... I was glad when there was no longer a tornado warning and the outside didn't look so ominous.

My flowers were all closed up and hiding today too. Hope we have more sun tomorrow.

Happy early Mother's Day to all our moms out there! My husband says breakfast in bed for me. What a sweet guy...

Happy Mother's Day to all the Moms. I had to drive from northern Arkansas to southern Arkansas yesterday for an event. I felt so glad to have been able to make the trip between serious storms. Our weather has been 86 one day and 63 the next! There are more tornados this year than I can remember. Big nasty ones doing lots of damage!

It sounds like Wyoming has had it's share of weather changes. So it's winter snow and spring tornados? Nice.

Most of us are still getting decent snow (had over a foot this past weekend), and the daytime temps aren't getting warm enough to really punch through those upper moisture layers.

End of June through August it really heats up. Usually some good storms almost every night.
