You almost always have to be here with a job and references before you luck into caretaking jobs. It is who you know for those.
These are second homes for the very rich and they will expect to see some stability here before you get an interview. Lots of them can be fulltime jobs on their own.

LosAngelesKid...
if $$ is not an issue, as you mentioned in a previous post, you most likely won't have a problem landing something in Jackson. The link provided by msdmckee is your best bet...but stay on top of it, because I think everyone else looking for a place out there will be too.

I lived in Jackson/Hoback Jct for almost 20 years. Housing is hard to find but many businesses have employee housing which are usually apartments. The big resorts in the park who hire hundreds of workers like Jackson lake Lodge do house their workers in dorms but they are just open in the summer.
As you probably have figured out getting a job is about as easy as breathing, pay is above the state average.

Thank you MRVphotog; those are the "dorm" type situations I was referring to.

Dont worry
Will people stare at me because I'm Asian?
Will I feel comfortable in Jackson Hole?
Will I be the only Asian person in town?
Wyoming is nicknamed the Equality State - they were the first to let women vote- I would not be worried about your race. Besides, everyone I've met in Wyoming are extremely friendly!

Potentially Useful Job Site for the Area
Those of you interested in seasonal work in the Jackson area [among many others] might so well do check out this site.
CoolWorks.com - Summer Jobs and Seasonal Jobs in Great Places
It's typically seasonal/transient work, mostly all service oriented but it's a chance to work and enjoy the area at the same time. Some of the employers offer dorm style housing or at least housing that is cheaper than average.
It really seems to depend on the employer.
