Summer weather alerts
I started this thread with the thought that anytime a person gets a weather alert, by alert radio, tv, radio, or whatever, we could post them here and possibly alert somebody that didn't catch the info elsewhere. We know how us CD junkies check CD before we turn on the TV. haha

Gillette 6/2 Tornado warning
NWS has issued a tornado warning for Gillette until 4:30 this afternoon.
I just checked the radar and there is a huge cell about 15 miles west of Gillette, headed straight at Gillette.
NWS has also issued a severe thunderstorm watch until 10pm for Sheridan, Johnson, and Cambell counties.
Again, I checked the radar and there are two very large thunderstorms just on the other side of the Big Horns. Hopefully, the mountains will break them up some.

Wow, busy night. Severe Thunderstorm warning for SE Sheridan county until 11pm.
The big cell that was in Southern Montana is now drifting South Easterly according to the Radar. Right now the storm is North of Arvada about 10 miles and tracking South East.
On a side note. Tornado touched down in Gillette today. No reports of injuries.

I have been listening to the weather radio all night... Quite an eventful night... missed us, but we still have some pretty loud thunder, and can see the storm moving south popping and lighting up the sky...
