Default need to find a home to rent/or rent to own?

hello, we just recieved news that our home that we are renting now is being sold by the end of summer. so we need to vacate the property before then. i was wondering if any of you have or know of a place for rent in gillette, rozet, moorcroft, or wright wy. its for a family of three we would prefer a three bedroom but will settle for a good sized 2 bedroom. we do have two cats but are willing to compromise, would rather have a roof over our heads. just let me know and leave an email address or something.
thanks.

You may want to check with realtor Sherry McGrath at ERA Real Estate. We were going to rent a cute 3 bedroom from her but found a house that suited us better. It is on the corner of 4J & 11th, right behind the chiropractor office. Take a drive by & see what you think. It is $1400/mo.

Default ?

?
Is that even legal?
Did you not have a lease/rental contract?
Can they sell it out from under you before your lease runs out?
Sorry for your trouble.

Unfortunately this happens all the time. I know several people this has happened to, one family ended up buying their rental because of it.

Not all landlords use a "lease" and as long as you give a person 30-45 days notice according to most rental contracts that is good enough to the owner.
While I don't agree with it, that is how it goes most of the time.
Some people are willing to work with you, while others are not.

Things will start to slow down I think in the next few years and more rentals will become available hopefully. Only time will tell though...
