Thumbs up Good Areas for ATV'ing

When we move to Gillette later this month we are really looking forward to exploring new places to get out and ride our ATV's. Does anyone have any ideas? Are there any BLM lands close that allow it like here in Montana? Any suggestions are appreciated.....places we can ride them right from Gillette out of town a few miles all the way to places that take a couple of hours to get to. We just need some suggestions as to where to go where we can freely ride and not get into or cause any trouble! We stay on designated trails and are very courteous ATV riders. We just don't want to end up on someone's private land and make them mad, etc. Thanks in advance for any suggestions. If anyone wants to go on a day trip with us to show us places that would be great. We're looking forward to meeting neighbors in our Sleepy Hollow neighborhood who like to ride. Thanks!

The state provides free maps of all the ATV trails. You can pick one up at any ATV dealer, Wal-Mart, Quick Sak, basically anyplace where you can buy an off road sticker also has the maps.
