I got a PM from him on 1-13-09. He was still in the hospital, but was hoping to be out soon. I haven't heard any more since, but hope to very soon. I know his ability to access the internet is very limited at the moment, so he only gets on infrequently. I hope that changes soon, too, since I miss his advice, wisdom, and guidance on this forum, and several others.

With Elk on the mend, I was just wondering who is the moderator for here? I know how rowdy it can get in here!  Hope he's feeling better. |

Hi everyone! I bumped into Elkhunter in the store the other day!  He was looking great and was doing a lot better...
I saw him driving in his truck today too! So maybe he is out of the hospital for good now I am hoping... One of these days he will be back to join me in moderating (I hope  ) either way he is still under moderator status...
If there is any rowdiness I may have missed on the forum please feel free to message me anytime or report the post and I will get to it a promptly as I can...

Sssshhhhh. Don't tell the nurses you saw me out in town in my truck. They thought I was at the library.
I'm not done here at the hospital, but I am doing a lot better. Things are looking a lot brighter. And, I should be able to access the NET on a little more regular basis. We'll see.

Today I'm going to go to McDonalds..... ahhh, I mean the library for a few. :-) You'd be suprised how bad a person could miss a greasy old hamburger and too salty fries.
And yes, I'm back. And Front. And sometimes around the corner if no body is looking.
