Exclamation Update on Elkhunter

Well I got my phone finally so I decided to try his cell and sure enough I got him this time.

The reason I didn't catch him last time I tried to call was because he was in a diabetic coma in the VA hospital I found out today. His blood sugars got way to high and he was admitted.

He was in a coma for 3 days total if I remember correctly; and has been in the hospital the past month.

So that is why I haven't been able to get a hold of him till recently.

He is going to call me again this afternoon or the next day to update me more.

I will let you know as soon as I get anymore information...

I should be back in commission fully on the 21st. My inlaws are currently staying at my house through the weekend, their motor home has to be fixed in order to continue their travel home. So I will be hit and miss the next few days, but will return any dms/responses as soon as I can...

Thank you so much for the update. I will let folks know on the other site too. Tell 53...that is how I know him...Izzy has been plum wore out worrying about him. SisHHHHHHH! Tell him I'm sure glad his old hide is on the road to recovery And could he PLEASE give someone in his family, like his daughter, the job of keeping us informed on a regular basis...here on CD and the other site. That was just to long of a stretch...without any news of him. Man, I'm going to chew on his hide when he checks in I'm so happy the old gizzer is okay

Izzy

Many of us on these boards not only miss him, we NEED him, these boards are like empty shelves with blind mice scurrying about without his knowledge and calming effect on the excitable members here !

I have to agree with the others. Although I'm new to posting on these boards, I've been reading them for many months. I, too, very much miss Elkhunter's presence around here. I'm glad to hear he is finally found and will keep him in my prayers.

Thanks for the update on EH. Wyomingites as a group are a tougher bunch than most places and I think EK is probably tougher than that. I look forward to his posts in the future.

I will be sure to pass on all of your well wishes to him...

I am glad I was able to track him down. He is going to call me back, if I don't hear from him I will try him this weekend and see how is doing.
I miss having him around the board too, he always had a positive outlook and excellent advice for those moving to Wyoming and the surrounding states
