My Stepfather has been a timberfaller for 25 years and GOD bless him for it! Well unfortunatly the bay area (San FranFREAKSHOW) has been slowly taking over the last bit of beauty of Northern California. All of us Republican Christian families find ourselves being pushed out. If you even wear a camo hat passed Chico people glare! Now imagine this...we are a Christian hunting homeschooling hardworking family. How we have survived this long I don't know. We NEED out!! We can picture ourselves in a place like Wyoming but we know what people think of Californians. Can't say I blame you. But rest usured that is not us. So 4 seasons is what we want. And when I say 4 seasons I mean winters that it snows so hard you can't see your street and so cold your nose hairs freeze. I love the cold winter days when the temp reads below 5 and but the wind chill is below 0. We love the beautiful fall days that follow a warm (not blazing hot) summer. We are lovers of the outdoors (and I don't mean treehuggers). My husband loves to hunt all big game as well as fish. We eat wild game year round. Our kids are begging to get there hunting permits and we are supporters of the NRA, CWA, and attend and contribute to the RMEF every year. I am not trying to brag by any means all I want is people to see is we are not like normal Californians. I just want to find a place wear it is small enough to know your neighbor but big enough to have steady work (of any kind). Thank you to whoever reads this and helps a family find a welcoming place to live. GOD bless you all!!
You sound exactly like me! I'm in Massachusetts and the liberal freaks have completely taken over.

Well it wasn't completely hijacked since the original poster did wonder about the political climate in Wyoming as opposed to Northern California, and several Wyomites (?) have responded ...but I don't think people in Wyoming are as apt to vandalize someone's yard if they have Republican signs up, and generally people--from what I recall--aren't too concerned as to which party you favor, but what kind of person you are in general.

So jesnlar if you are still keeping up with your thread, Wyoming is likely a good place to be

OMG hurry and call Hannity at Fox news - he would love to be able to say yesterday's historic news isn't so or know some way to make it not happen. Then again, you may want to check the date of your link - old news that has been disproven.

you have some serious issues....take a chill pill it hasn't been "disproven", Obama ignored the lawsuit. maybe you should seek alternate forms of "news" other than the mainstream liberal media. you sure have taken offense to all of this (part of the reason I personally think democrats are a little off kilter)....and by your continuing ranting/raving posts, you're proving it!

It hasn't been disproven. The suit was thrown out by the judge because he said the lawyer did not have standing to bring the suit. A technicality to be sure. THe question is who does have standing to bring suit?

Sorry if you feel I am ranting or have taken offense. I am just very tired of people that tell some line of bull thinking people should believe them. If the only question here is "finding a lawyer who has the standing to bring suit" that shouldn't be a problem at all. The GOP doesn't have any lawyers with "standing"??? I don't need any media to tell me that is bull. I can't wait to tell a hard core GOP lawyer friend that bit of info. I know for a fact that he would jump on that issue with both feet if there was a case to be made. Ya'll have more fun with this - I have nothing more to say about it.

I am going to chill. My new Mukluks arrived yesterday and I am going to take a long walk in this beautiful brisk weather.

jesnlar is on a distinguished road
Wow. I didn't realize my blog would cause such controversy. Sorry to those it may have upset. That was not my intentions at all...HONESTLY. All I was meaning by bringing up the Republican and Christian talk was just to say what kind of people we are and what would be a good place for us to fit in. A family like us don't and will not fit in a super liberal area...and thats just the truth of it. I must say though it was pretty intresting reading everyones ideas and thoughts. I even found myself getting a little wrapped up in the debat in the very begininng...but thats not why I got on here so I stopped. But I would like to thank all of you who replied to my original thread and helped give us great ideas on places. In fact we've been researching them and plan to make a trip out there this winter. I would really like to see Wyoming in the winter. 3 places we are really intrested in is Casper, Gillette, and Rock Springs. I've been especially intrested in Casper. It seems to have a lot of things to be involved in and do and good work. The interpritive center looked way fun to see. We figure we'll take about a week and a half and do a lot of sight seeing and area browsing. I really liked the idea of not being to far from Yellowstone and Mt. Rushmore. Since I homeschool my kids those would be awesome places to do "extended" field trips! And thanks to those who apoligized for highjacking my orginal thread. Funny how I didn't even mention Obama (just said liberal) yet his name appeared more than the word Wyoming...kinda funny thats all. I hope that last sentence doesn't cause a 5 page uproar...haha. Well again thanks to all who stuck to the original thread.

I have already come on here and warned those of you who have contributed to hijacking the original poster's thread that if it continued I would shut this thread down and I am sorry to say my warning was completely ignored so I am going to have to close this thread.
