Take a look here. It lists all jobs open in the state of Wyoming. Complete descriptions, pay structure, everything. Just type in a profession, or a pay scale, or a location. It will list everything available there.

https://www.wyomingatwork.com/

And here is the jobs open with "State agency's."

I know in the Sheridan area, we are in the hurt locker for nurses. The VA is advertising all the time and have several positions available. can't answer for Cheyenne though.

I don't know the pay scale as the ads I've seen only say it's "competitive".

I can tell you that Cheyenne's Hospitals and private medical clinics are aggressively expanding at this time and are seeking more RN's.

There's been quite an influx of new hires in the area over the last year, and they're still hiring.

It might be worth your time to contact some of the places directly to get a pay range.

What they mean by competitive - For the past several years, CO has been poaching alot of RN's from the Cheyenne area. Big city hospitals can pay alot more than the smaller ones. But I've heard recently that United Medical Center is paying more than they used to.....I doubt you will make as much as you do in phoenix but Cheyenne also has a lower cost of living.
