Yes it was very much worth it. I am a single mom with 3 kids I took a big risk in comin out here but it was the best thing I could have ever done. I have been in Lander for almost 3 years now. I love it here and I have a steady job. I came from Michigan where the economy is failing and I got out just in time.

Hi,
We came here 1 and 1/2 yrs. ago from Northern Wisc. Best part about living in Wyoming is NICER WEATHER! The sun seems to shine a whole lot more here. The next best thing (arguably) is NO STATE INCOME TAX. You get to keep more of your hard-earned money!
It does take a while to get used to virtually no trees. But I've been back to the Midwest a couple of times, and now realize I don't miss trees that much!
