Default Badgers in Cheyenne area?

Hi folks,

My wife and I own retirement property NE of Cheyenne (up on the north end of route 143). I'm familiar with most of the wildlife in the area, but I'm wondering of there are badgers in that area? As far as dangerous wildlife goes, is there anything apart from small rattlers we need to be aware of before we head out there?

Thanks and God Bless!

While not very numerous, there are badgers in the area.

Are badgers dangerous?
From what I can tell they look like overgrown rodents.
