I've heard that Casper has received a fair amount of snow these past couple of days...and that the NE portion of the state is under a Winter Advisory as well - 6 inches in Newcastle have fallen in the past day and the temps are a bit chilly. Roads are not bad as of yet.

I hope you don't mind Alaska sharing its weather It's actually been a bit nicer lately...not the subzero temps we've had.

That nasty winter storm dropped almost an inch of snow. Wasn't it pretty?

Default Last Blast

I'm waiting for the last blast. Never fails. We always have one last big snowstorm. Usually in late March. Remember 2 years ago in Sheridan? 50+ mph winds and 37 inches of snow. But it melted in 3 days.

Aren't you having near 70 degree temps, Elkhunter?? Or will have relatively soon? A friend of mine resides in Sheridan and has emailed me regarding this. I know Newcastle and the area are expecting highs in the mid-50's for a majority of the week.

<sigh> I rather miss this time of year in Wyoming...the hints of Spring but the reminders of Winter. We just received 2 feet of snow this past weekend and another inch today. My fault, I'm certain...I began Spring cleaning early

Yup, been absolutely beautiful the last few days. But that's the trouble. It's making us complacent and when we have our back turned, we'll get hit with 30+ inches and 60+ winds for 2 days. The joke is on us. Happens every year here in Sheridan, without fail. haha

I am waiting for the blast of snow to come also.
Last year it was late.. and dragged on.. but according to Farmer's Almanac we are supposed to be getting our winter blast some time this month...

and then it's gardening season Yippee!

Had a little Thunder boomer yesterday afternoon, a nice hint of spring to come lol.
