I just looked in Farmer's Almanac, and they are predicting a "Snowstorm" somewhere between March 15-22, I am very curious to see if their prediction is right...

They've been right more then they've been wrong. May be a day or two earlier or later, but it will probably get us.

Very true indeed, that is why I always like to buy one every year, cause they are usually right on the money

You know, I believe it is around here somewhere I'm finding that albeit the depth of snow and the length it remains; Alaska is not so dissimilar from Wyoming - Winter weather wise. I miss Wyoming thunderstorms..Alaska is lacking in that area.
Oh and it was another foot of snow - not 9". So please...I will merrily box some up if need be

LOL I have never been to Alaska, but one of these years, it would be a fun state to visit.
Is it a dry cold over there or a wet cold?
I love the thunderstorms too!

Depends on the location. I think it is a rather dry cold where I reside, somewhat similar to Wyoming.

Heads up!
Howdy, Wyoming neighbors!
I just thought I would pass this information along to you... it looks like there is a major winter storm developing that will affect parts of southeast and central Wyoming late this weekend and into early next week:
http://http://www.accuweather.com/regional-news-story.asp?region=midwestusnews
http://www.weather.com/weather/alert...55821813a65a5a
It looks like portions of southeast Wyoming will get hammered with major snow, and possible blizzard conditions. We're still watching where the low goes to see if we get a major storm in Denver. I'm crossing my fingers... we really need the moisture!
Be safe, everyone, and plan travel plans accordingly!
