My husband didn't make it to Gillette today. Once he got up to Piney creek blowing sideways and couldn't see. He was traveling in a small convoy, so they turned around and came back to Sheridan...
Really bad over in Buffalo & Gillette...

On the interstate, when you pass over Piney, it seems to have an atmosphere of it's own. He should have taken the old road, wouldn't have been a problem. And I know he just desperately wanted to go to Gillette.

When I woke up this morning, I couldn't see out the window because the snow was plastered on them. We listened to the radio and they said no unnecessary travel and that all the schools were closed and that some mines were sending people home and unless you were a emergency personnel to stay home. The wind is gusting over 50 mph. Even if we wanted to leave, it would take us a while to dig out since there is more than a foot in front of garage.
