Question Winter in Wind River area

What's there to do during the winter around the Riverton/Lander areas?? I found a lot to do here during the fall and summer, but now that it's gotten so cold, I've got 3 stir-crazy kids and just plain boredom sometimes for me. Any ideas???? Also, is there a Christmas parade here?

PsykoKustomz is on a distinguished road
To be honest I am not sure if there is a Xmas parade here or not. This time last year there was alot more snow on the ground so I would say go sledding that is always a fun time. I work with some ladies that have kids if I hear of anything that they do for fun I will be sure to let you know.

If you're into that sort of thing, cutting a christmas tree up in the mountains is a nice outting. We cut ours in Sinks Canyon in Lander that year, and I enjoy looking back on the video we took of my daughter and cousin sliding on the snowy/icy road.

Other ideas: Ice skating, sledding (yeah, I know, no snow atm), library trips (we used to rent videos at the library as well as books), and I found this calendar of events for Riverton on the chamber of commerce website that showed what was going on now. Festival of trees is mentioned, as well as sporting events. Good luck!
