Be in wyoming next week got some last mintute ?
I will be around gillette next week, don't know what part of the week yet, but i have some questions. The biggest one is where is the best place to go and talk to people about masonry and construction jobs. I posted some pics of my work in a prior thread and will be bringing some with me as well. Second is where do i go for the best bang for my buck in advertising for my work. Any help is greatly appreciated and i look forward to seeing you all soon.

If you're looking to be hired on as a mason, Barton Construction would be a good starting place. I think they have offices in Gillette and Buffalo -- or maybe they've moved everything from Buffalo to Gillette. (I'm not sure which.) They've been around a long time, at least 35 years, and do a lot of big jobs.
The only large general contractor that I've worked with recently has been S&S Builders. Their main office is in Gillette, and they also have an office in Cheyenne. They do quite a few commercial buildings and are good folks to work with -- good reputation, nice buildings, use lots of brick and stone work.
You might want to stop by the city building inspector's office for some tips on people to talk to.... maybe some real estate offices too.
Good luck!

it may be worth it to take a trip down to Casper while you're here....ya never know!!!
I can look into who you'd need to get in touch with....I've had a couple of friends just buy new construction homes...McMurry's seem to come to mind on someone you may talk to here in Casper (if you're even interested in coming down this way).

Probably advertise in the Casper Star as it is a state wide paper. Most towns also have a little paper called the Big Nickle, or something similar.

I think I mentioned to you in your other thread to give Mike Tonn at Mike Tonn Const. a call. He builds upscale homes. I know his wife quite well and know Mike. He's a good guy. His # is 307-682-5132. His brother Matt also has a company, Progressive Const., so you could also try him at 682-7867.
The idea above to call realtors is a good one. We really like Pat Avery of Pat Avery Real Estate. A great guy who I'm sure could give you some leads as he is the exclusive agent for some builders. His # is 686-0856.
Best of luck here in Gillette.......but be ready for COLDDDDDD!!!!!! It is supposed to be the coldest so far this year here next week, below zero for several days. At least you'll know what it's like to be here when the cold is at it's worst!
