Trying to get to cody!! (Powell, Lovell: rental, find a job, safest)

I was just wondering if any one could point me in the right direction within a decent driving distance of xray jobs or facilities. My boyfriend and I and my son want to head to the cody in the next year or so. But I would have to find a job before that could happen. We really have decided we dont want to go anywhere else

I would check at the hospitals in Cody, Powell, and Lovell. Those are the only places within driving distance. I'd really try Cody and Powell first, as Lovell is a bit further and with weather like we're getting now, the closer the better! Cody also has a good cancer center, so you may get info from the hospital about that. Cody's hospital is West Park Hospital, Powell's is Powell Hospital, and Lovell's is No. Big Horn Co. Hosp.

There are certainly radiology facilities in Cody; it does have a variety of medical facilities. Other than that, the nearest place is Billings, too far to commute on the two lane roads between. But Cody has a good tourist industry so far, and there are plenty of jobs, some year round.

One big problem here seems to be finding a rental where one can have pets. You will need to spend some time and make arrangements on that before you move.

Cody is a hundred miles from the nearest city, almost as far from an interstate highway, and almost five hundred mile from Salt Lake, the nearest major metropolitan area. Should really troubled times come, it should be one of the safest spots in the country.
