I have a question. I'm trying to fill out the state application and it is asking for "semester hours"... is this how many credit hours I took per semester or how many actual hours I spent in the classroom??? I'm confused. Any help would be appreciated.

I'd think that would be the number of credits you've earned. A full-time student would earn 12 to 20 credits (or semester hours) per semester.

Thanks.. I think I figured it out from my transcripts... it's confusing because I attended 3 different colleges over a span of 18 years.

Georgia, I was wondering if you'd consider reading my letter of application over and letting me know if it sounds alright? I've not had a lot of experience writing one, and want to make a good impression. LMK as I would really like to send my application off by Tuesday this week. Thanks in advance!

Okay, after several days of collecting all of the proper paperwork, writing and revising a letter of application, I have been able to submit my application and resume to two high schools in Lander and Riverton Wyoming. Keeping my fingers crossed and hope to at least have the chance to interview at one or both.

Thanks for your help and advice Georgia! and everyone! I'll keep you posted.

So happy you got everything done. You are more than welcome for the help. Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner re: your resume. We had a death in the family & things got busy for awhile. I'll say my prayers that you get hired in Fremont County!!!
Georgia
