People are friendly. For example, there is quite a bit of road construction going on. The road I used to get home has become a main artery (8th street) and at 5 pm, the line to go right onto Douglas Hwy can be long, but here people will orderly let cars merge from the side streets without needing a stop sign to be told to do so. That would never happen in CA. I have heard that people from the South are real friendly so I don't know if Gillette is more friendly compared to where you are, but compared to where I was from, they are.
The weather will take some getting used to coming from Florida. It was in the 70's just a few days ago and today it is snowing.
What are you considering cheap?
