Hey WyoNewk,
I love my Storm and I use it for everything. It is the only blackberry I have ever owned. I use it for emails, text, browsing, facebook. It takes great pics 3.2 megapixel camera and video which I then post online directly. When we were moving up here, we googled all the places and sites we passed by while we were driving. I found it easy to use. I like the fact that it gives me touch feedback when I type. It doesn't have as many applications as the iphone but no AT&T here so no worries.

hey Froggie Legs,
I certainly hope not. I had Sprint in California and it had the worst customer service and reception. I would drop calls at a major intersection in my old city. You can get out of your contract with Sprint if you are moving to Wyoming because they can't uphold their end of the bargain since they have no service in Wyoming. But I will warn you, they were the biggest PIAs when I told them I wanted out of my contact (I only had 2 months left too) because they didn't have service in Wyoming. They told me that they wanted a bank statement with my wyoming address or utility bill. Hello! I was in the process of moving so i wasn't in Wyoming. The guy also said that it was no big deal that Sprint didn't have service in WY, I could just roam since roaming was free (he didn't mention that they can charge you if you are roaming more than 50% of the time) Bottom line is Sprint is bleeding customers because their service sucks.
My husband who had t-mobile, told them that he was moving to WY and no problems they let him out of his contract in 5 mins and thanked him for his business.
Verizon is awesome. I have been so impressed in comparision to Sprint. Customer service is great and reception is great.
slowly getting down from my soapbox....

My husband has had Verizon for several years in WY and likes the service. He has an antenna on his truck that probably helps his reception. Both of us have Verizon wireless for our laptops that we are pleased with.
I have had Alltel cell service for a number of years. Years ago both companies served smaller areas than they do today. It seems like both companies give good service. I really like the Friends and Family that Alltel has. I've got the same reception on my Alltel cell as my husband has on his Verizon when we are traveling together.
I haven't compared the two plans yet but that would be the only factor I can think of right now.

Thanks for the info on T Mobile. I have been a loyal, and very satsfied customer of theirs for almost 6 years. But Having been in Gillette for the last 3 days for an interview, and scouting the area, I have been roaming the whole time!!
I just got word this afternoon that I will soon be a resident here, so T Mobile will have to go.

Thanks for the info septo.. I just have a cheap Virgin mobile (Sprint owned) loadable phone for emergencies, but most of my family-daughter, mother, sister, aunt... have Sprint and the calls are free Sprint phone to Sprint phone. I'm not attached to Sprint and will likely just keep on using Magic Jack computer calling service for long distance since it's about 10$ .year through the computer. (on a real phone). My only real need for a cell phone is to have on hand in case of emergency or quick calls.

A word of caution! Make sure the phone service you end up getting works in your new "home area." We know a lot of guys who came to a construction project from various parts of the country, and when the phone company realized they were using so much "out of home area" time, they canceled their service or made them pay extra fees.
And I also would caution you to avoid Union Wireless. It is a local Wyoming phone company that claims to work "in all areas of Wyoming" but it doesn't! We had a heck of a time getting out of our contract with them when our phone didn't work at our new home in Cheyenne!
Verizon has worked great for us in Wyoming and in our travels out of state.
