The VA said they do not like me using it...I told them I do not CARE, because the pain-medz (in various 'pill' form) have taken their toll on my liver.
We have/use 500mg Ambary Gardens Deep Rub CBD. It does work, but not for long enough. But, still like it.

And, btw, I never told my VA doctor I was using the CBD. Knew what she'd say, so saved all the aggravation I'd get from her.

3 of us live in Florida, so we have no real ideas what that would be like for an elderly person. One of us lives in Md and she's 60 and she's out there shoveling her looong driveway when it snows 3 ins and she says its very hard and she don't know how much longer she can keep it up as she gets older.
we we thought: how do old people live in places that have waaay more snow than 3ins or 12 incs? How do they even walk out to get their mail, or take the garbage out to the street?
we've seen pics where the houses look like they're surrounded by 6-8 feet of snow?
We know all these old people don't just move to Florida. what are they doing? staying put indoors? what about doctor appts and what have you?
Our Mother is 87 and she is not hardly able to walk to the front door, much less shovel snow to get to the mailbox.

If you have elderly parents that live in these states or elsewhere, how do they cope? How do they function with daily life in the winter?
They hire others to do it for them or get help from their friends, family or neighbors.

As far as doctors go where is most of the medical care located in Wyoming? Or is it one of the states that has lack of medical care? Sheridan is suppose to have a hospital there at least for that part of Wyoming to the north

I'm pretty sure that Casper has the best medical care in the state. There's nothing wrong with Cheyenne, but it's only an hour from Fort Collins and another hour from Denver, two cities with abundant medical care, so it's lacking a little for medical care. I'm not sure how well Laramie is doing. It's the 3rd or 4th largest city in the state, but like Cheyenne, it's only an hour from Fort Collins.

I used to be pretty involved in securing medical care for Gillette, not as a medical expert but as a volunteer doctor recruiter and facilities promoter. Gillette has come a LONG, LONG way since I moved here nearly 50 years ago. I can't take credit for that, but I was at least in on the know, and I'd guess Gillette has the second largest medical community in the state. Sheridan might be no. 3 or 4., which isn't bad considering that it's way down the list in town sizes. It's a nice town in a nice location, and that attracts doctors, plus it's not far from Buffalo, Story, Ranchester, Dayton, Clearmont, etc., etc.

Lander used to attract a lot of specialists, but I don't know how they're doing now. A couple decades ago when it had all those specialists, it was really lacking doctors for the common cold. My guess is that it still is, but that's only a guess. I also don't know how Jackson is for doctors. I'd guess they're doing okay. Jackson is a doctors' kind of town.

IIRC, Casper and Cheyenne have the only level two trauma centers in the state. There are no level one trauma centers.

I was only thinking of the ills and chronic stuff that comes with old age.
But as far as trauma centers go.

Trauma centers would be the best for all emergencies?

Health care usually comes up at some point for older Wyomingites. I'm somewhat involved in healthcare.

While northeast Wyoming towns have great providers, people in Gillette and Sundance areas go to Rapid City, SD for specialists and many surgeries. People in the Buffalo and Sheridan areas go to Billings. Some from either go to Casper.

No matter how you look at it, there is travel and additional cost involved. Some people find the costs bearable and the inconvenience worth it. Others either can't afford it, their health needs require very frequent treatment, or they tire of the travel (especially in the winter when days may be added to the trip) and end up moving to one of the larger centers.

It is wise to consider what one thinks they can handle, financially and in terms of energy.
