Default Finding 4x4 trails

I was wondering if there were any websites that anyone knows of that may have a list of 4x4 off-roading trails and their location. My wife and I are outdoorsy and I can't think of any better way to spend a weekend. go-wyoming.com looks like they are working on getting a list together but haven't posted anything yet. Anyone have any leads? We are looking mostly for trails/roads in the south western parts of Wyoming in the Evanston area. Thanks!

Get a copy of the Wyoming Gazeteer, generally available at your local sporting goods retailer or a major bookstore.

You'll find lots of detailed county information about terrain and public lands in the areas of your interest.

Also, there's a number of "trail guides" published that list "favorite" 4x4 trails of the authors throughout the state. Again, a good bookstore will have this type of guidebook.

You can also contact the state Game and Fish department for guides, your county for guides to open spaces, and there's a host of jeeping clubs around the state that share this information. Additionally, your local ATV retailer has information on where to use their products ....
