Default Missing UW man

I'd been following this story here in Japan in the local military paper even before I knew we were moving to Cheyenne...

I'm wondering if it's been on the local news there.

I'd read that he's from Cheyenne. Hope they're able to find him alive....

Wyoming Tribune-Eagle reported today that the American search parties had tracked his path to a steep cliff, where it appeared that he'd slipped and fallen into a location from which survival was not likely.

The American team had to leave the island, and the Japanese were going to continue limited searches at this point. But the outlook was that the professor had died in the accident.
