I just got caught in the down pour LOL Soaked to the bone. At least my garden is covered and not in the threat of hail any more. No hail in Sheridan, but I heard there was some in Dayton. I wonder if anymore storms will roll through this evening...

We got blasted out here. Winds at 50+, small hail (pea sized) and torential rains. But it didn't last long. I made my reports to BYZ after the fact. The weather alert came about 10 minutes into the storm.

I saw that on radar. I looked like it could have been wicked, in places. Hope everyone was safe.

I'm a trained weather spotter for Billings. That's our reporting area. It's the only radar that see's us. But they see us at 1200 ft above us. So they can see a cloud that's bad, but they can't see what's below it. That's what I do. They see it, let me know, I report what's going on. Simple as that.
Yes, we got our ass kicked today. Rocked my world. hahahahahahaha It snuck up on us today. Never saw it coming. I'm on the puter about 12 hours a day. I got an alert 10 minutes after the storm hit. But I sent in my reports so hopefully, they were alerted in Sheridan and further East. We can only hope.

I got hit bad. Did you garden make it out? If I had a garden, it would not have made it. My truck is an old 85 and it faired quiet well. But the neighbor substained a lot of damage on thier 94 model. The old blue, That's what I call my truck, did a good job.
Old blue. She's taken me through a lot. Hail, snow, doesn't matter. I've had her piled up against snow that it boiled over the top. She kept going.
But, the storm hit, we are still here.

Thank goodness my garden was safe. Not too much hail in town. I think most of the hail was out your way. I have PVC hoops around both my raised beds that are each 6ftx18ft long. I was able to cover it up with tarps and bungees. However by the end of it, I was soaked to the bone. LOL But at least my veggies were safe hahahah
That storm came up kind of quick. Lol wish I would have had another 30 minutes of warning LOL.
Sounds like you are doing great as a spotter so far! You guys have a hard job, especially when the storms come out of no where lol.
