The Nws Storm Prediction Center Has Issued A Severe Thunderstorm Watch For Portions Of
Central Montana North Central Wyoming
Effective This Thursday Afternoon From 400 PM Until Midnight MDT.
Hail To 2 Inches In Diameter, Thunderstorm Wind Gusts To 70 Mph, And Dangerous Lightning Are Possible In These Areas.
The Severe Thunderstorm Watch Area Is Approximately Along And 105 Statute Miles North And South Of A Line From 15 Miles North Northwest Of Butte Montana To 65 Miles North Northeast Of Billings Montana. For A Complete Depiction Of The Watch See The Associated Watch Outline Update (wous64 Kwns Wou1).
Remember, A Severe Thunderstorm Watch Means Conditions Are Favorable For Severe Thunderstorms In And Close To The Watch Area. I'd say the chance of precipitation is 100% and didn't stop from last night. It did lighten up for a little while this morning around 9:00 but it never really did stop for the whole day. It looked like was going to break away around 6:30 this morning, but no such luck. Sucked BIGTIME for our yard sale, not many people like venturing out in the cold and rain.

I know, that's always a show stopper. haha
I can't believe I went up in shorts and a t-shirt. Froze my butt off. haha
So, people! That want to move to Wyoming, it's August 15 and we got snow, blowing now, nasty weather. Weather service even issued a warning. Sure you want to move here?

Don't often get much wind out here at the cabin. But got a couple friends coming out to go fishing. Wouldn't you know it, wind is at 43mph sustained, gusting to 45. Hopefully it'll die down before fishing time.
This week, I'm going to change the thread to Winter storm warnings. It's that time of year.
